Best Edition Featherweight 221 - The Perfect Portable: And Its Stitches Across History, Expanded with Free MOBI EDITION!

I highly recommend this book on many levels. First, the author sews, loves Singer machines and spent years doing research to see why Singer machines are like royalty. Additionally, she threw in other bonuses such as a chart which allows the reader to see when his or her machine was built!! Fantastic! Just when you think it can't get better, there is a copy of the manual so important when many of us have lost it or can barely read the faded pages of the original. The only thing missing is some photography of the main Singer factory in New Jersey and Scotland. And yes, why Scotland? I found a more comprehensive answer in another book but nobody is perfect! If anything, I will never sell my machine and I will treasure it for years to come. I give the author a standing ovation!!
