The title, the description, and the sample all led me to believe that this book was going to be about how to do homeschooling in 5 hours per week (and I know it is possible because Dr. Matt James describes having done this in A Homeschooling Odyssey). Instead, that part only had a few paragraphs devoted to it, with the method described simply as "focused work." Half the book is dedicated to the evils of formal schooling for children (which, presumably, anyone reading this knows already), while the other half is all about using travel instead of the classroom to educate, with some sections about teaching entrepreneurship by doing. Not all homeschoolers choose these methods, especially those who aren’t rich, and those who don’t are only given a few paragraphs telling them to use local museums and to think about traveling more. A better title would be Homeschooling Through Travel.
